A Freedom of Information request failed to turn up a survey that BC Premier Christy Clark referred to in a television interview this summer, when she said the majority of people in the South Okanagan don’t want a national park.

When Premier Christy Clark said in a television interview in July that a majority of people in the South Okanagan don’t want a national park and that surveys back her up, there was much scratching of heads.

Now, a Freedom of Information (FOI) request by the Osoyoos Times for information on the survey or polls Clark referred to has come up empty.

So instead of giving the Premier a pass on an erroneous inclusion of weed as being tainted with Fentanyl, you choose to discredit the whole message that this synthetic opiate is a serious problem and showing up in all kinds of street drugs. Do you deny that?What depths of stupidity can one go to in the search for ways to discredit for purely partisan reasons? The message your post and provided link is essentially doing is she made one tiny error in her statement and that the real and serious message that this drug is being mixed in numerous other street drugs is now suspect. Hope you ad the CBC sleep well when even one person dies because they read that article and decided that the Fentanyl crisis is bogus because an NDP hack said so.

Just so I can get this straight...we are arguing because it hasn't been proven that pot has been laced with fentanyl? I'm not CC fan believe me! However the fact that she may have got the facts wrong doesn't make it not so...it could have happened and even worse it can happen. Do I want the government to control pot...not really (that is another topic). We need to get fentanyl off the streets is the main object here.

the 9nly way and its been said for last 40 years is end the war on drugs period . legalise all street drugs and put the billions spdnt on chasing southamericans towards treatment .

i dont for a minute think clark made a mistake ,she hates the idea of pot being legal and was trying to keep the useless war on drugs going . .
