B.C. government provides 3 different fentanyl spending estimates in 3 days
The amount of money B.C. is spending to prevent fentanyl overdoses seems to depend on which day the question is asked.
On Tuesday, it was more than $10 million.
On Wednesday it was $15 million.
By Thursday, B.C. Premier Christy Clark had nearly tripled that number.
"We have put at least $43 million into it and that doesn't count all the hospital resources." said Clark.
But they got the campsite numbers right!

http://parks.state.wa.us/590/Steamboat-Rock for reference.
There were a lot of campsites that were underused, or rarely used. Plus some that declined in usage a lot as folks habits changed. Lac La Hache used to be really busy, now it is one of the few easy highway access campgrounds where even in August you don't need a reservation.
So the numbers don't really matter as much as meeting the actual demand. There is a definite need for more sites in the high traffic areas, and seems to be the priority. Washington State is doing a similar thing. Steam Boat Rock got money and expansion, but lesser used sites did not. Just makes sense, no point throwing money at sites that aren't going to be used.
Atomoa - you have to realize that government spending is for ALL the people - not just dipper pet projects. The hobbyhorse you are currently riding could be solved, but not at the provincial level.
