Disappointed with todays poll
Curious as to why Castanet worded todays poll the way they did, It seems the question really is: "Should it be illegal for homeless humans to sit or lay down on the sidewalk at nighttime?"
To those with homes, what is the need to HATE those without homes?
What is the psychology operating within you that lives out the belief that if a human being lives outside they are criminals, should be criminals, should have even less than they already do or are to be feared?
is it because the media has brainwashed you?
is it because a human being living outside without a house perpetrated a criminal act on you, your friends or loved ones?
Or maybe I am way off base, they could be asking our opinions about those human beings who sit or lay down on the sidewalk at night after the club lets out....

Re: Disappointed with todays poll
poll questions are always designed to get the desired result of the writer of the questions....in simplest terms it's the old joke "are you still beating your children"....answer yes or no....either way, it's a loss.

Re: Disappointed with todays poll
I too thought the poll wording was rather ambiguous. But, to me, it doesn't matter what time of day they do it. No time is the right time to behave like that on any public street, sidewalk, or alley.
If food carts and trucks need a permit to occupy the same space, then so should those that have personal issues. Even customers and shoppers that want to spend money and do business in that area have to pay to park there. Why not equal obligations like tickets and impoundment for non-compliance to by-laws?

Computers allow people to make more mistakes in less time than anything since the invention of tequila and automatic weapons.

Not the first such poll nor the will it be the last. The design of surveys is both art and science. They can be deliberately designed to 1) be ambiguous to get a certain result or 2) are just be ambiguous because those designing them do not have the experience needed.
