now your either for locking these creeps up or your not . job doesnt matter . if you have kids you want these predators caught and convicted . if your going to defend a person because they are a cop , for thhis type of crime , you need to never be alone with minors .

YET....our judicial system can NOT give him any stronger sentence than anyone that has been accused of the same crime.

What did those Catholic priests get for a sentence, for their involvement in the same behaviours?

Just because they are in a higher profile employment, does not constitute a higher sentence.

Let our Canadian judicial system run it's course, regardless of position, opinion, and/or press coverage.

Sorry but it does. There is plenty of case history where the person who is determined to be in a position of being "a person in trust", is expected to be and act at a higher level of responsibility.
We can do no due diligence on the creeps on the street but there is a vetting process for the daycare workers we entrust our children with and the cops we tell our children to run to for help if they should need it. And when these types of people breach that line, the book must come down hard and forcefully for us to maintain any semblance of society. The alternative is we become a society of paranoids that can trust no one....even law enforcement.
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Does not change the Canadian Criminal system or the level of punishment it can administer. He is still just a Canadian male.

He deserves to be treated as a person of trust but he also deserves to be innocent until proven guilty. Just because he is a cop does not make him automatically guilty as some seem to think.

Consider how hard it is to change yourself and you'll understand what little chance you have of changing others.
