In Canada, a bungalow can have an in ground basement. However, the definition is not so strict that one could effectively argue for or against, or even if a walkout basement qualifies under a bungalow here.

My friend works for Remax, and just listed a "rancher" for sale. Now one calls it a bungalow, so not sure why the School District does.

A jungalow of bungalows, monkey swings by the vine,
Better be a mighty fine wine,
To live in a bungalow,
In the jungalow.

Like I said a house on one level . Same as a rancher . Basically if u r an older person this is the style house u likely prefer
Now they want to take our guns away . That would be just fine. Take em away from the criminals first . Ill gladly give u mine. "Charlie Daniels"

You have got to stand for something . Or you will fall for anything "Aaron Tippin"

I don't remember hearing the term "rancher" until I moved to BC. Bungalow was the term I knew in the prairies.

Until I moved to Alberta in my early 20's, I also didn't realize that most people outside of Saskatchewan don't know what a "bunnyhug" is.

So, are you going to tell us what a "bunnyhug" is? For those of us BC born of course.

Probably good in the rain, but useless in the wind or on a bike..

Here is a good explanation of a Bungalow.

My Wife asked me if I knew what her favorite flower was?
Apparently "Robin Hood All Purpose" was the wrong answer!

When I first heard the term "hoodie", I had no idea what people were talking about. I didn't realize everyone didn't call them bunnyhugs. Just one of many quirks us prairie folk have!
