^^ They haven't painted themselves into a corner if they favour those things. The bridge tolls were a big issue which probably cost the Liberals the election so they wouldn't want to backtrack on that. "Plagiarized" is a strange word to use in this case but I know it's in the NDP talking points.

But will the ChristyLiberals in Opposition vote for passage of these bills when presented by Horgan/Weaver? Or will they obstruct passage and show their true colors in an attempt to bring down the NDP/Green alliance?
OK, so you don't like the word 'plagiatized'. How about one of these:
copy, infringe the copyright of, pirate, steal, poach, appropriate; informal: rip off, crib, “borrow”, pinch

I think that the changes made by the Liberals are here to stay. Voters overwhelmingly want to get rid of corporate/union donations, lower mainland voters don't want bridge tolls, and people want to see more money for those in need.
I guess we will see about their dedication in the upcoming new government.

ff - that's funny.
The NDG form a crooked back room undemocratic deal and you want to criticize the Liberals for trying to fight back
Just be ready for the next go 'round when it is the GPN.
Weaver snookered Horgan badly.

Ummm. and how does it differ from a 'crooked backroom undemocratic deal' differ from the ChristyLiberal 'backroom undemocratic deal'??
Weaver and his 2 elected MLAs determined they were more aligned with Horgan's policies and their decision was made in broad daylight.

Re: Throne Speech - June 2017
Nope. You said yourself, premier Clark did not even take part in talks with the Greens. Essentially the Liberals just listened to the pitch.
Realistically, there was never any chance of Liberal - Green agreement. 1/3 of the Green caucus is a Liberal hater. Besides, the correct position was the one that Weaver took before the election.
The NDP wanted a coup, they got one. Now Horgan and the NDP can stop being envious and disingenuous. They are now the dog that caught bus, Now they have to govern, that requires a lot of growing up in a quick period. It looks like they are confused, and running home to Glen Clark to tell them what to do. Lemmee see now, after Glen Clark the NDP got trounced 77-2. Hmmmm.
Canadian tradition has always been that the party with the most seats forms government. Horgan, because of his obvious envy and power lust, allowed Andrew Weaver to suck him and the NDP into an untenable position.
Andrew will let the NDP hang themselves, and then split off the environmental vote that the NDP co-opted from the Greens. I can see it now. "The NDP told us they had a plan to make this work, a plan for governance, and they didn't. We, the Green party did and do. Our platform is budgeted, costed, and complete with taxation plan. etc. etc. ya-de-da"
John and the NDP crew forgot one of the oldest cautionary tales from history, "Beware of Greeks bearing gifts".

Well let me see now, the biggest difference would be that the Liberals won the election, and thus the right to govern.
Mr. second fiddle Horgan did NOT.

It's pretty much impossible to discuss anything with someone who constantly speaks out both sides of her mouth flaming.
On the one hand you biotch if Clark doesn't listen to the people, then when she does you biotch because she takes steps the people indicate they want.
With sycophants such as yourself she is more than intelligent enough to know that no matter what she does there's no pleasing your ilk, so she simply tunes you out and tries to please those who are rational.
An election WILL come, sooner than later, and the GreenDP will pay the consequences for it. Don't believe it? Sit back and watch.
The only thing we know for certain is the only thing that can possibly be passed in the house is something everyone agrees on, and there isn't too much of that.
Anything contentious will be deadlocked, or the NDP will have to resort to shady unconventional tactics for which they will also pay dearly next trip to the polls.

Don't insult our intelligence by playing dumb.
You nearly had an aneurysm when Dix blew it last time, and classy is not the word that comes to mind when describing your reaction.

Nope. Just havin' fun.
Think it through, who controls when the NDP government falls? Weaver. It is an NDP government so who looks bad if it fails? The NDP. If taxes have to be raised to meet the promises, who looks bad? The NDP.. If the government fails to stop K-M and looks bad, or they do block it (that is actually unconstitutional) who looks bad in the lawsuits? The NDP. If the government stops or holds up site C at massive cost, who looks bad? If the surplus goes south, who looks bad? The NDP.
