Re: Throne Speech - June 2017
Each party should stand on its own.
Israel has been unable to make peace talk progress because the coalition politics rule out doing what the majority of Israelis want. 59% of Israelis back a two-state solution - but it goes nowhere because of coalition politics.
The NDG is totally undemocratic. IF the NDP won the most seats, then they should form government, same for the Greens, and the Liberals.
There is no way that the NDG can claim the support of all of the folks that voted either NDP or Green. I know at least one voter who voted Green, and is aghast that the NDP are governing a coalition. I am sure that some of the teachers that voted NDP are not happy with linking up with Weaver who insulted them.
So give it up. The NDG has far less support than the combined apparent support of the NDP and the Greens.

Close but no cigar, if everyone got off their *bleep* and voted we might have a different outcome.
Because George............because 61.5% of registered voters actually voted, so .615 X 60% = 36.9% of voters did whatever you think is wanting a new government
Actually 57% of the vote went to greens+ndp

Wrong, you should have read the post, George said 80% voted for change, he means all the votes for parties other than the Liberals adds up to 80% of the elctorate
Once I thought I was wrong.....but I was mistaken...

Only when he is perched on the fence is he a centrist but when he falls off he falls hard to the left.

Well, I was interested in the Liberals
Until Clark became premier.
There has not been a good Conservative leader in B.C. For a long time.
Horgan ran a good campaign and deserves the win.
Even Clark recognizes that as she adopted most of NDP platforms.

No. This is pure garbage.

Best for who? Anyone who wants more welfare and doesn't like working? Because the NDP/Greens will supply that in spades.
