The point is that the NDP ran a personal attack campaign against premier Clark. Doesn't matter who does that, it will inflame the off balanced.

The BC NDP under Horgan have stooped to a new low, and to a place that even devious Dix would not go, and to a place where Carole James would not go, a place where Mike Harcourt, and even Glen Clark would not go, and definitely to a place where Dave Barrett would not go.. The entire NDP platform was laced with disrespectful personal attacks on premier Clark.

We can not assign any direct culpability for these threats to that personal attack campaign, but it sure has a whiff about it.

Threats against anyone in politics are not to be condoned, and stirring up personal animosity against individual politicians is at minimum a yellow card in my books.

It says something that the BC NDP had to resort to a disrespectful personal attack campaign and in the end an unholy alliance with another party to get anywhere near the reins of government.
