Threats Against Premier

Railway theft is minor compared to a threat against the physical well being of a public figure.

Or a group of people that work for a company. A man was charged with uttering threats regarding a mother and child on a bus last month. And on and on....

They all count it's illegal, cause how are people suppose to know what's a serious credible threat and what is just the rantings of an ahole (all bark/no bite).

Just watch though how some people (some of the same posters in this thread even) try to downplay the seriousness about threats against Trudeau or his family

It's concerning when people make light or sympathize with threats.

Reason: off topic
Not sure why I bother with a signature as it seems to just randomly disappear on a regular basis. Especially if it offends liberal snowflakes.

Would so rather be over educated that a knuckle dragging Neanderthal bereft of critical thought and imagination. Although in the case of Neanderthals, that's quite the insult.

"Why wasn't this made public during the campaign?"

It serves no point to make an example out of people who are mentally ill. Good on Clark for taking the high ground for once. All you whingers complaining about the violent tendencies of the left should get a grip and look at what the anti-abortion movements and anti-immigration movements have been up to. Get off the cross we need the wood.

This case was supposed to go to court on June 29. What happened? I have heard or read nothing since the original story and the many comments on this thread.

Public information found here

https://justice.gov.bc.ca/cso/esearch/c ... ySearch.do

News story gave name as Pavla Janeckova

http://vancouversun.com/news/local-news ... ve-thomson

Just type last name into search and you can view the charges. What all the codes mean is beyond me. Something is scheduled for Aug 22.

Slap on the wrist. A very light slap, more like a pat on the wrist.

She's got a year probation and the charges can be revisited if she does anything stupid like that again. Her own lawyer said it was a stupid thing to do.

She should have gotten community service to help out somewhere.
