Another good site to see some of the upcoming eclipses is Heaven's Above. The site also has daily predictions for satellite passes including the ISS. They have an app as well.

The 2024 eclipse also goes through NB, PEI and NL.

According to this article you may want to go with 14's just to be safe.
If you can get hold of them, welder's goggles rated at 14 or higher will protect your vision. The nice thing about goggles as opposed to glasses: They have straps. They’re not likely to fall off. Less safe is to hold a piece of No. 14 welder's glass up to the sun.

Just checked princess autos site, seems just getting the tinted welding glass would be the most affordable way but they only have up to shade 10 in site, maybe darker is available in the store.
