Doesn't surprise me. Foreign students pay big money - won't be good for business if a bunch fail because of language problems. Parents will just find another country/province that's more accommodating.

i have said it all along, the smarter they think they are the dumber they are , just another story to prove me right,they get jobs because of a bs piece of paper that they got at school ,but can not speak proper english. look around you people its every where

Veteran college English instructors are routinely receiving passionate, imploring pleas for passing grades from the international students who increasingly fill their classes.

Ajay Patel, who is responsible for external development at Langara, acknowledged the college has been “proactively recruiting international students in many markets, including India.”

He added it’s doing so in line with the policies of the federal and B.C. Liberal governments.

Show me where the BC Liberals have put pressure to pass non-Canadian students. This says the recruited the students, but pressured to pass them.
