BC Conservatives eye Clark's seat

Post by KenL »

I do have a question for the BC Conservative party. Don't you lot get it? In Alberta the Conservatives and Wild Rose parties managed to dilute the right wing vote enough to allow a surprise NDP victory.

We just went through a nail biter of an election that resulted in a super tight over all vote split and the formation of a tenuous NDP Government for this province.

If you are a BC Conservative party voter, your contribution is nothing more than a silver platter for the left wing NDP party. I suggest you set aside your petty issues for now and do what is right.

In this polarized electoral environment, any votes not cast for the BC Liberal party are welcome gifts to the socialist side.

Maybe they want to distinguish themselves from the nightmare that is the BC Liberal party. Maybe they accept that the so called Liberal Party will fall to pieces like the actual Liberal Party did years ago.

What did I tell you guys? After September 30th, you can expect the BC Liberals to suddenly have a name change, to BC Conservatives.

The BC Conservatives would only win Clark's seat if it were perceived that the Conservatives had a legitimate chance of winning government. Voters around here don't want to see the NDP in power very long and that will be a strong motivation to vote BC Liberal and not BC Conservative.

I don't think Bob's post was baiting. Intolerance is a key part of the conservative platform.

I've not seen a BC Conservative platform for some time. Can you elaborate on how the Conservative candidate in Kelowna West would be running on a platform with intolerance as a key part? Please be specific. If you're correct it's yet another reason to vote BC Liberal and not NDP or Conservative.

I just came back from reading the political headlines in all MSM news outlets, plus some not-so-mainstream, and the BC Conservative story is nowhere to be found. Could it be that our Castanet has scooped them all?

Why use a big word when a diminutive one will suffice.
