Money laundering has nothing to do with the Liberal party.

You need to stop making inflammatory statements.

No member of the BC Liberal party would ever take cash under the table for laundering money. The fact that the management of the casinos were appointed by the Liberals is just a coincidence. All that money showing up, in the form of cash, at the casinos, was likely all brought there by "high-roller Asian VIPs". Suitcases full. Sure.

Excuse me while I consult some MSM archives. Pretty sure ol'' Rich had his fat, grubby fingers in the casino money laundering business quite some time ago.

Bob Mackin has the story:

In spring 2016, under then-gambling minister Mike de Jong, GPEB and the Solicitor General launched the Joint Illegal Gaming Investigation Team, a unit of the Coordinated Forces Special Enforcement Unit of B.C. It was the long-awaited replacement for the Integrated Illegal Gaming Enforcement Team, disbanded in 2009 by then-gambling minister Rich Coleman. Coleman is now interim leader of the BC Liberals after Christy Clark quit in August.

Last June, the organized crime fighting agency announced several arrests related to a major illegal gambling and money laundering investigation. Charges have not been announced. The government is trying to seize a mansion on Richmond farmland that was allegedly used as an illegal casino.

I hope the release of the report and any related information does not impact any ongoing investigations.

And you need to pull your head out of ....the sand and start doing some research. Just one simple google search, ' what is Rich Coleman's involvement with casino money laundering?' will give you dozens of related media articles. Most of them pertain to the years when Coleman was the Minister responsible for gambling casinos and gaming grants. One article that stands out was the CTV Vancouver April 10, 2014 story: "money laundering rampant in casinos". Another is a headline from another publication around the same time, which reads: "Did Cabinet Seize Charity Money to Satisfy Casino Demands for Retractable Roof?"

Those are just two of many references to a very narrow search. I'm sure if you do a wider search of the BC Liberals' involvement with casino money laundering, you'll find additional information that will make you wonder why you ever said, "Money laundering has nothing to do with the BC Liberal party". But do you have the cajones to do it?

Why are you so terrified to post a link and quote a portion that supports your position?

It no longer has anything to do with the Liberals, it's now the responsibility of the NDP, get used to it, the NDP is now responsible for any shortcomings. Sometimes you get what you wish for............

Don't blame me if you're unable or unwilling to do your own research. I have a life, and don't have time to do it for you.
