Got any job postings to share? How about 2000?

Just saying...........

No personal attack occurred to anyone on this forum. Maybe you need to read the rules and try and understand their meaning.

Just saying.

Also "just sayin'",

If anyone on the Left has said this about Christy Clark, all you neo-cons would be crying all the way to the Report Button. The shaming and admonishing would be epic too.

As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

Looks like Amazon is not worried about bringing business to BC under the NDP government, eh?

Those tech people were trained during the Liberals tenure, unless you are suggesting that all the talent that Amazon finds amazing learned their vocation in the last few months.
Also, more NDP math. 6000 jobs lost but 1000 jobs gained. Time to pat ourselves on the back.

So the term neo-con is a form of endearment to me? Or is that a personal attack? Seems like I was just called a form of neo-nazi.

Sounds like a duck to me.

The jobs lost at site C would be a disaster but you all so have to remember all the other jobs that are related to it. There would probably be as many as, or more than twice the 2000 number at risk.
Consider how hard it is to change yourself and you'll understand what little chance you have of changing others.

For sure there'd be a lot of spinoff jobs lost, but the NDP minds never think in those terms.

Plus all. The jobs coming in the pot industry will make the damage caused by bclibs 16 years of job mismanagment seem like bad dream :smt045

MJ your lack of logic is astounding. BC led the country for years in job creation. But as usual you ignore the facts.

One month of job losses doesn't mean much. So insufficient data to tar the NDP - yet. But the NDP lack of management skills will lead to job losses. We have seen that movie.

Wasn't grinning Johnny going to take out Dumbledor's wand and teach the Trump guy a lesson about softwood lumber? Johnny grinned and promised he would get tough and "solve the problem", restore the old foresty jobs! Yuppers, right there in the terlet paper the NDP put up for a so-called platform.

We're awaitin' Johnny - get yer grinnin' mug off to Washington and teach that Trump guy a lesson! Bring back all them forestry jobs, you know like in the old days - springboards and bucksaws. Go get 'em Johnny!

By the way MJ, legalizing pot has zero to do with the dimbulb NDP. Seems to me that there is a Liberal thing in Ottawa... but the BC NDP will find a way to fluff it up. They always do, we can count on them for that.

Those who have nothing to add in favour of job creation in B.C. should not be spouting off about job loss. Any job loss in the Peace region can be made up in other areas of the province if only there was the political will to do so.

Gee did I miss your appointment to mod status?

If not perhaps it's you who needs to quit spouting off, in particular regarding things you clearly know nothing about.

CF - fer cryin' out loud, people want and need jobs where they live, not on some NDP quango in the Vancouver-Victoria complex.

Real jobs = economic activity.

The BCUC proposes "industrial curtailment" as part of the phony crud offered up as an "alternative" to site C. Guess what? When industries "curtail" they lay people off!

Good ole NDP - let's see how many jobs we can kill! The party of "Nooooo" = Noooooo jobs!

Not everyone wants to work up in northeastern B.C. either. It's a big province, HG. There are people in the Okanagan who are flying back and forth to Fort St. John to work when they would rather be working close to home. All I'm saying is that we need to diversify. Instead of having people working on one big project in a remote area, why not have smaller projects in various regions of the province?

Tell that to the locals who were looking forward to the economic boost the dam is bringing to their area. I'm sure your sentiments will go far in comforting them, and feeding their families.
