This isn't a reopening of some of the old buildings on that land. It is a new building. With a dirty rotten NDP government in charge, you can be sure that it will be built with evil, spoiled, unionized workers.

Most every other of our Crown assets were. Maybe the developers weren't willing to pay what the BC Libs were asking for that property.

I've been around long enough to see that every new government (no matter the party) will take credit for what others have done or started.
Well with the exception of failures, they then will try to blame the previous government or do massive deflection/totally avoid subject. Since no one wants to admit to a f up, especially governments.

no problem if it's built by union workers, the real issue is that it's the best bid that wins the project. Unfortunately with the NDP, you just can't count on the best bid winning, because the people in charge are so freaking stupid. And controlled by union puppet-masters.
