After reading this news item, it appears that were retreating to that old 2-party system that's working so well in the US . Since Jagmeet Singh became NDP leader, the party has lost more ground than the Peace River Valley.

And speaking of the Peace, Horgan's bad decision on the Site C dam will also turn B.C. into a 2-party province......the Green Party and whatever the BC Liberals change their name to during the next election campaign. I don't think anyone's going to forget who initiated that big white elephant, and by 2021 we'll know just how much that thing is going to cost us, and how long before construction is complete. Unfortunately, it may never be completed if those recurring tension cracks cause the whole north slope to slide into the river.

That's true. If one looked at the loss of support from a financial standpoint, Jagmeet's experience so far rivals a wind power project for economic losses. And failure to generate any energy.

I disagree. You not only have to be an idiot to vote Green, you have to be crazy. There just aren't enough people that crazy AND stupid in BC to turn the Green party into a viable party.

Nor are there enough crazy AND stupid people to re-elect the BCLP. That's why they're going to have to change their name again, much like they did when they were called Social Credit and got trounced by the NDP a couple of decades ago. What do you suppose they're going to call themselves this time.......the CCP (Corrupt Conservative Party)?

Except that voting for the BCLP isn't crazy or stupid. It's a vote for a stable economy, which a lot of people like, versus an insane dead "economy" created by Green LEAP'ers who can't do the math. So essentially your statement holds no water whatsoever. The Green party is just too stupid, and far too crazy, to ever form a government.

I said all along that dumping Tom and electing Jagmeet would be the NDP's downfall; and I was right. Allowing a few radicals to dictate Party policy was the dumbest mistake the NDP ever made. And the Cons aren't doing much better; Scheer seems to be a nice guy, but he lacks the charisma necessary to beat Trudeau.

voting for the BC Liberals is just as bad as voting green. Although Andrew Weaver seems like an honest guy with good intentions his platform is a joke. As for the BC Liberals... well they are a bunch of thieving morons. The NDP are a combination of the two but the lesser of the three evils and I do give John Horgan credit for doing what is in the best interest of the province and approving site C.
