John boy, thanx for your swift reply. You can proceed with all three of those things you listed since not one of them is of any benefit to me or my family whatsoever. Then, please submit your resignation at your earliest convenience.

The scary fact about this whole dispute is that John Horgan is not in fact the Premier, Mr Weaver is. The Greens hold the all important balance of power and the NDP has to pretty much do what the Greens want. If they don't they fall, it is that simple.
The increase in tanker traffic is at first look scary, but if you look at the history after the Exxon Valdes disaster there has not been another incident. The redesign of the tankers, the escorting tugs that have the necessary power to not only control a fully laden tanker but stop it if needed, have greatly reduced the risk.
No matter how much the NDP and Greens and now the Burnaby governments try to stop this project it will go ahead. The might of the Federal Government is behind the project and all these protests will do is cost huge sums of taxpayer money, something the NDP is incredibly good at anyways. In the long run the benefits will greatly outweigh the risks and the whole country will reap the results.

No one fix for housing crisis

During the last election, the NDP promised that, if elected, it would show none of the timidity that marked the Liberals' efforts in this regard. It would take bold, courageous action to right the market so that young people could once again imagine a middle-class existence that included owning a home.

Well, nearly six months later and we're still waiting.

On Tuesday, the New Democrats will introduce a budget that is expected to include a suite of measures designed to address the housing emergency, particularly in Metro Vancouver. Expectations are ridiculously high. And that's no one's fault but the NDP's.

NDP's promise of affordable housing is a 10 YEAR plan.

A long time ago I believe Campbell said there will be no HST. Well not long after, HST was introduced. Was he a hypocrite or was it good policy? As a business owner I loved it. Good policy for business. Simple tax to deal with. Perhaps the bike shop owners snivelled but I thought it was for the greater good. Then Vander-Zowie started popping off...

The NDP lovers will always believe the left way is the right way. No matter how many examples of this governments screw-ups are illustrated they seem to believe they can and will do no wrong. No changing their minds, ever.
