Pregnant and on the street

Since men are paying to have sex with her ( lovely) maybe some of the Johns can step up to the plate since she didn't get pregnant alone.
With all the money the Govt wastes there should at least be a " home" from pregnant street women to stay during their pregnancy.
So if she is just a junkie who should be discarded as a few are saying then what about the Johns going home to their happy lil family after banging her bareback?

Paternity testing in the offing.

I was also thinking the same thing NormaM, where's the father? Why is he not being held responsible?

Why is it just on her?

Which branch of government to you trust enough to give that authority to? And are there any examples elsewhere in the world where forced sterilizations have been of benefit to society?

Hell, let's not limit this to just the most vulnerable. People with criminal backgrounds, people who are poor, people with chronic health issues. If you can't live a healthy, productive lifestyle (the government will determine a definition of "productive") then your kids most likely won't either. Sterilize 'em all I say.

The above is an extreme example, but do you really think it could never go that way?

We are having this debate in our own family right now. Two kids having kids, four of them. Social housing away from gramma because, wait for it, it's the only social housing to allow a DOG! They can't afford the dog, but no, we have to live in Oliver because of the dog. But four kids need educations and clothes and it's not their fault.

When I first read this article last night My opinion was there is no story here other than The unborn child should be aborted and she should be sterilized.....end of story.
Then I looked at it again and it has me wanting to look into a little bit more.

As unfortunate as how many of these Women end up in this situation there is obviously no clear thinking from Tamara about her Baby and the life it may or may not have after being given to her mother. (A proud parent I am sure she is!!)
The children are born in a facility like Maxxine Wright Place or on the sidewalk an addict of heroin or pharmaceutical opiates with all the health issues that it will face for the rest of its unfortunate life!!

Maura Gowens of Maxxine Wright Place which is under the umbrella of Atria says the facility turns away expectant mothers almost everyday!!! How tragic!!!

These expecting women turn to facilities like Atria "Atira Women's Resource Society is a not-for-profit organization committed to the work of ending violence against women through providing direct service, as well as working to increase awareness of and education around the scope and impact on our communities of men's violence against women and children."

Not for profit....Lets see...
Atira Women's Resource Society, which provides housing, advocacy, and support, generated $14.6 million in revenue in 2011. Of that, nearly $9 million came from the provincial government.

One employee was paid between $120,000 and $159,999, with another receiving between $80,000 and $119,999. There were 88 full-time positions and 136 part-time positions at Atira Women's Resource Society last year.

Uhmmm am I seeing a profit for the CEO? Unfortunately no name is associated with the 1 Employee which in My opinion should be public record since its a Non Profit.
There is no doubt in my mind that the Lucky person who makes $120,000-159,999.00 works hard and has done a Lot of great things, but for a Non profit organization, it is My opinion that part of $ 159,999.00 could be well served to Educate the unfortunate women who are giving birth to addicted children on the street.

Have we not gotten to a point yet where from the Drug addicted mothers who think its a Good idea to have another child in a polluted body to Greedy Not for Profit organizations need to be held accountable?

Our entire system is flawed
