B.C. already gets most of its fuel from WA state anyway. As soon as we reverse the flow of oil from the pipeline that goes from north-east B.C. to Alberta and start shipping it to B.C.'s refineries instead, we no longer need Alberta's fuel.

You do realize that BC only produces 1.6% of Canadian oil annually?

In BC we only produced 1,132,031 M3 or 7,120,475 bbl last year which considering our provinces population and heavy reliance on other resources such as Fishing, Lumber, Mining, and Farming we will either have to shut those industries down completely since we will not have enough BC drilled oil or continue importing oil from Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Yes we (Canada) ship oil to the USA, as a country we produce more than we use, so why not sell it for a profit? Its one of those perks of having the 3rd largest Oil reserves on the planet.
