14 arrested at Trans Mountain terminal
Greenpeace International co-founder Rex Weyler joined the ongoing protests against Kinder Morgan’s pipeline expansion Monday.
Weyler, formerly a director of the original Greenpeace Foundation, was arrested along with Bob and Barbara Stowe, the son and daughter of Greenpeace founders Irving and Dorothy Stowe, with others who attached themselves with zip ties to the gate at the entrance to the Trans Mountain terminal in Burnaby. According to Burnaby RCMP, 14 people were arrested Monday related to the protests, following Saturday’s action where 28 were arrested after blocking the entrance to the tank farm.

David Suzuki has been at the top of the list when it comes to the MOST ADMIRED CANADIANS.
http://pesticidetruths.com/2014/03/11/d ... 2013-2014/
Unfortunately, though, the REALITY of David Suzuki ( as an activist and lobbyist ) now seems completely at odds with the PERCEPTION of David Suzuki ( as neutral scientist with no vested interests ).
In reality, David Suzuki is the Non-Expert Enviro-Lunatic Fund-Raiser, Anti-Pesticide Alliance-Puppet-Master, Psychedelic-Hippie, and Entertainer who operates David Suzuki Foundation.
David Suzuki holds a mere B.A. Honours in Biology and a mere Ph.D. in Zoology.

Q: How have the B.C. Greens done?
David Suzuki: Well, it was staggering. You always hope the Greens will hold the balance of power. The Greens had their first big chance with Site C. Two weeks before the decision was coming, [Green Party leader] Andrew Weaver said they wouldn’t bring the government down over Site C.
He wouldn’t even play politics! There’s no way the NDP would’ve wanted another election that soon. He could have taken the government right down and stopped that dam. But his highest priority was proportional representation. That comes before everything else, because he knows in the next election he’s going to get wiped out. It’ll either be a Liberal or NDP majority, so he loses all that power and wants proportional representation. Now politics comes before principle.

They should electrify the fence..it would be a shocking experience for anyone foolish enough to chain themselves to it.

All the old Vancouver Yippie anarchists will trot out their gray beards and wrinkles to look cool.
It is of note that very few were born in BC.... some, Weyler, seem to be part of the old draft dodger crowd. Knew a bunch of them back in the day. Lost souls... looking for something to tie themselves to.

"On average, oilsands companies have reduced their greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) by 10 per cent since 2012"
The protesters won't like that.

No that's too rewarding for them.
Grab a couple and bury them upright, up to the neck beside an anthill, then cover their heads with honey.
That'll make a statement.

Pity they didn't arrest Suzuki too. Mr. fake science guy has to pop in for a photo op, probably killing time while his pilots are refueling his jet.

Arresting Suzuki would just add even more publicity to the wingnut followers. He will be 82 years old on Saturday. He doesn't want to miss his big birthday party.

Re: Kinder Morgan protestors
Funny, not a single protester at the Richmond tank farm and pipeline project that will receive tankers of jet fuel from South Korea refiners.....
Not a single protester in New Brunswick where tankers from Saudi Arabia and other such nations offload their crude oil to be refined on the east coast.....
