Pleading not guilty, shocking. I can only hope the suffering that poor pup went through will not be ignored and these worthless people are punished like they deserve to be. I hope one day they feel the shame and disgust of their actions/inaction.

That comment is pathetic!! Chain them to a large tree in City park and don't feed them. Leave them there until that dog is back to good health and then let him / her go.
Sorry...just had to say it. I feel if you can't afford a animal don't get one. Hope justice is served on this person.
