if i was to use the same logic as some others here about losing - it was only because ndp voters let the liberals win. it wasnt the skills of the party or liberal voters - it was by design of the ndp voters. by the way - nice diatribe.

what everyone here seems to forget is that ALL politicians are natural born liars. Once elected, it's all about staying in power. None of them could care less about any of their constituents. What's for us, the voters, to decide is which is the lesser of the evils. NDP, Liberal, Greens, it really doesn't matter who is actually elected. The non elected NDP is only fighting the Kinder Morgan pipeline to appease the Greene party Waco's. The Liberals lined the pockets of all their corporate donors for 16 years. Is this right? No, however, at least people were working. The present bunch in "power" say they are making BC more affordable for families. How raising taxes is going to accomplish this is anyone's guess. Eliminate MSP premiums, only to install a poorly designed payroll tax, is just plain stupid. Installing a foreign buyers tax to make homes more affordable in the lower mainland is stupid. Removing tolls on lower mainland bridges, so those of us who will NEVER drive over one have to pay for it is stupid. $10.00 a day daycare? Why should those of us who have raised our families have to pay for someone else's daycare? Daycare has always been expensive. One parent needs to stay home to properly raise their offspring. We tried both parents working, wasn't worth it. Just working to pay daycare. Use this money to pay back ICBC instead.
Anyway, I digress. All the political bashing is a moot point. Politicians just don't care.

i agree with the sentiment. why should we gen x'ers have to pay into a failing and strained cpp plan that we will never see a penny of - because baby boomers will bankrupt it before we see a penny?

 Good points falklandjack.

Take note though that many of us have for eons stated that we wish there were other options, but of the ones we have, the Liberals were certainly the most adept at operating a government, which is why we supported them.

The only thing the NDP has ever been adept at is screwing up perfectly healthy economies.

healthy for who? business? look what that got us. contract prices x2 or 3. part time workers. stagnant wages. TFWs. busted unions. industries that feel it is their god given right NOT to pay overtime. the list goes on and on. if the NDP governments cramped this philosophy and style - more power to them.

blah blah blah just more communist dogma to try and support an insane and untenable anti-pipeline position. Just nonsensical babbling.
