He did. And he should crack a bottle of the best to celebrate tonight because it will be the last chance ever in politics he will be able to do so.
On the up side for him, with his new MP salary, he can afford some housing more suitable to his expectations in Burnaby. I would caution him though to not sign any lease longer than six months however.

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

I'm no fan of the NDP, but I think voters will unfairly punish them, especially in rural and more secular areas of Quebec where people are especially triggered by public displays of religious clothing.
The Liberals pretend to be down with multiculturalism, but they largely keep religious minorities to the back bench except for the defense minister but he has a badass mustache, so people like him for that. Two of the other three Liberal MPs who wear head coverings have being kicked out of the party.
The NDP is more open to minority religions than the Liberals, but voters are more like the Liberals so the NDP will suffer despite Trudeau's extreme unpopularity.

of course, because the government is paying the freight. Socialists are always cool with wasting taxpayer cash. But we all know that Jagmeet, like Elizabeth May, has finally found a riding full of people that will just keep blindly voting both of these bozos in election after election, so you are quite right that he can probably sign a long-term lease, and soak the taxpayers for as much as he wants.

Re: Singh wins
The NDP is the far left in Canada but I think, yeah I think that’s what Canada should vote for this next election at this point, it’s really quite befitting. To a country that is so liberal in some ways and then not remotely at all in others.
I feel like at this point, the economy stays afloat and exists solely through making profit solely on the expense of others. There needs to be a healthy amount of a population effectively disenfranchise to make money on them correct? I think Canada almost has to be that liberal at this point, there’s so many social probekems that have arisen in Canada since the last decade. There’s rising unemployed and housing shortages all over the country. It’s become really bad, and it’s like that’s what the economy is aimed towards achieving.
I feel like being that liberal is almost submission on some ways, but then I feel like the country is not really free anyway at this point there is not that possibility in that regard.
