hmmmmm ... I don't know anyone who couldn't use a genuine hug from time to time.

Full body waxes is a whole 'nother thing, though. :200: :200: :200:

However, if the full body wax place says they do full body waxes, (and I know some guys who do get body waxes) then I suspect the shopkeeper might expect to have to provide full body waxes for any client who walked through her doors.

A woman going to a barber shop for a haircut is not as odd as some posters seem to think it is. Some women, who like to wear their hair really short, prefer to go there - and besides, they are usually cheaper than a beauty salon.

I can agree - this woman may have just been setting out to make a stink and prove a point about "equality" and I sure don't begrudge her that. Fair is fair. What's good for the goose must also be good for the gander when it comes to all this PC human rights stuff. One should not be able to haul out the religious card or the race card without expecting to have to follow the same principles they want for themselves.

oh she is a cranky woman looking for trouble, I agree, they should have shorn her locks and said oops.
Bet she thinks she gets served cat in Chinese cafes and hasn't shaved her legs since forever..
And prolly complains her hot water isn't hot enough.
Maybe I'm wron,g perhaps Faith has lovely flowing lock locks and figured a place like, hmm, a Barber shop, could style her up to look like Uma

I am so very tired of people moving to our country and trying to change it to the ways of their country!

Yes Canada is full of many different races, religions, blah de blah. If I were to move to many middle east countries (god forbid), I as a woman would be required to "cover up".

Why do we allow this?

Good on her for causing a stink... tired of this religious bs in every day life.

I always thought it was to be better than them, in theory to have freedom of religion and not be persecuted.

She really is just being a betch about this, it's got nothing at all to do about being denied a hair cut, it's all about the religion. If the guy had said we don't accept women because it makes my clients uncomfortable, well, sorry that's just business.
Our problem is that people are obedient all over the world in the face of poverty and starvation, and war, and cruelty. People are obedient while the jails are full of petty thieves, while the grand thieves are running the country. That's our problem.

If its all about religion for them and it was all about religion for the Molnars, then would you say the barber shop has to do women's haircuts?

If it were all about religion, then only Muslims would get served. Clearly, this is not the case here.

If they demanded that all barber shops should only serve men, then the claim that this is about new immigrants trying to change our laws would also hold water. Again, this is not the case.

They are saying their holy book says they can't cut a woman's hair. That's religion. They never said anything about only serving Muslims.

Typical reply Capt. A. Since when can we not speak our minds about how we feel. Anytime any one makes sense or says what they believe to be right, your drivel comes out. Quite tiring actually.
