We don't need more skilled workers. The Harper Government wants skilled workers that will work for 1/4 of the pay that skilled workers get now in Canada. Thats all there is to it.

I think if they closed the door in Canada to immigrant workers, it would cause employers to train, and PAY appropriate wages for tasks completed. Hmmm... letters to Immigration Minister.

As Canadians we sit and stew, should start taking action. Look at our Natives brothers...drumming across Canada.

Well, we can start by going to school and getting the skills that are in demand...and going where the jobs are as opposed to "drumming across Canada" waiting for employers to knock on our doors.

That's easy - because the program will only benefit people from other countries.

Screw Canadians - immigrants are cheap.

But not to worry - they're only temporary...around 14 years or so....
