"crookedmember"

He shouldn't be sorry; he spoke the truth. The Alberta conservatives are way too much like US Republicans. Crazy, crooked, dishonest and obsessed with abortion.

His father helped mold this nation into one of the best, freest and least corrupt countries on earth. It's sad to see crud with bad hair like Harper destroy it.

I think he's trying to ride on the Trudeau name; he's not his father. Just because his father was a reasonable politician, it doesn't make him one.

Jacques Plante could play hockey, but his son couldn't skate.. if you get my point!

This is a thread about Justin Trudeau, not Pierre Trudeau. While the family name is relevant to the discussion of Justin, Pierre Trudeau's record is not. Let's try to keep this focused on Justin please.

"My country is the world, and my religion is to do good."

Trudeau is the perfect puppet for the left to rebuild around. He is friggin man pretty, the closest we have to Canadian royalty.Hes young and in touch with the buzz in social media .He's way better at being consolatory than Pierre. He can still deliver a backhanded apology,By the time the next election comes, the lisp will be gone he'll have gained 15 pounds. He will look like a rock star,Unless the Tories can get Pam Anderson,i think he will get a minority. Steve will throw mud but he will be covered in tar.He just lacks his fathers cool.Hes still too much the drama teacher. You need to find your mojo Justin.

I posted quite awhile back that the Libs would likely make Trudeau their next leader, since the last few have failed so badly.
After all it worked for the Dems in the U.S. - all style, no substance. I was heartened to hear that Trudeau only drew about 100 people at UBC to listen to his speech. And no fainters that I heard of. Maybe the voters here are smarter than the American voters.

"fruit doesn't all far from the tree" comes to mind here - the guy has charisma and that means votes.

I've removed some off-topic posts, and see that Jennylives has removed a few as well. Keep it on topic, keep the silly comments and pictures for the Political Arena, people. Serious comments only.

Western children would be shunned to attend such a satanic event.I t wasn't publicized that well ,i only found out just b4. Sadly hes taking the same bus as Stevey D and Mike.Asking Canadians what they want.Loser .the writing is on the wall .he should be coming on strong now, with popular youth supported talking points. education, environment ,legalizing pot.He needs to start now Tomorrow is too late.Hes being handled by the same gritless grits.Lets see what happens after he is leader.
