Harper goes for $1 million dollar ride in India

I have just one question:

Why was it so inportant for Stephen Harper to go in person to India
if India is such a bad place, thaat he could get shot? Why not just send the
leader of India an email, under those conditions, and give the $1 million dollars
to people who need it?

I don't really understand the question here.

Why should out prime minister work at global relations instead of just sending an email? Really?

There is no government official that visits any country without their own security.

Long term trade plans, ideas and concepts should be cultivated by our government, and it doesn't work like a world of warcraft account.

Because Canada is trying to attract their business, not the other way around. Sort of insulting to suggest that their money is good enough for us, but hey you can keep your country, don't you think?

It's getting more than a bit silly seeing people complain about unemployment on the one hand, and then complain when government takes measures to try and do something about it.
