I'd bet Trudeau's in for at least another six years.
Even after that he'll be a thorn for Cons

Take care in what you wish for, jimmy4321.

And I agree, long after he is gone he will still be just that, a thorn.

While polls arent always indicative of election results, the sheer lead the Liberals have makes it pretty much inevitable. We'll see how those numbers change as we approach the next election, but for now Trudeau remains even more popular than he did before the 2015 election.

This is exactly what they were saying in 1970 about Justin's evil arrogant jack-ass dad. Then two years later he almost lost the election and had a minority government. He had to depend on a fawning media (sound familiar?) to publish embarrassing photos of his opponent to win the next election.

We'll see how the next one goes. Justin is growing more and more arrogant as the days go on, and it wouldn't surprise me to see the NDP grab back a big share of their vote once their leadership race is done.

Scheer? Really? The party had to tear down Scheer's website the day after he was elected party leader. His views on abortion and women in the workforce will haunt him with the female half of the electorate. You can be sure the Liberals have already written the attack ads. Plus the Scheer/Bernier schism that was revealed at the convention will hurt him, too. All those westerners and they voted for anybody but the guy from Quebec. And a lot of Canadians will refuse to vote for a guy who has the same warmth and sparkling personality that Steve Harper had.

And on top of it all, the NDP are about to elect a leader with a turban.

How much easier could it get for Justin in the next election?

You may wish to look at the comments posters left after reading this article.

Rex Murphy's take on the Khadar scandal and how JT "handled" the miserable situation has not been removed or deleted, nor have the comments posted afterwards either. Nor have the many other articles with accompanying comments about this bumbling, inept government been deleted.

Not here to change your mind and help you see the light as you refuse to do so as can be seen by your nonstop throwing out of endless excuses for our hopeless PM.

I am neither left or right, nor politically affiliated but I do know when I smell rattus rattus. I will complain no matter what party we chose to elect when outrageous behaviour becomes public knowledge.

And BTW, why do we get some of our news through 'leaks' (whistleblowers)? Maybe someone was trying to pull a fast one?

It's funny when people mention this subject they fail to mention how the Cons *bleep* the bed here and actually suffered in the polls, and the fact that Canadians didn't take a liking to Cons airiring out their dirty laundry in the US
If Scheer doesn't pull a rabbit out his *bleep* next election, he'll either be replaced immediately or serve his political lifespan as opposition party leader.

Just a thought. I wonder what the questions were in this poll. Depending on the slant or bias contained within the questions anyone, maybe even myself, might have answered in favour of JT without knowing what the poll was really about. Was he even named?

Does anyone know how to obtain the poll questionnaire?

Why will these comments, or views, or whatever the hell you are talking about, "haunt" Scheer? Why do you just assume that all women agree with whatever you think they are supposed to agree with? It's this kind of arrogant stupidity that led the Huffpoop morons to say the day before the election that Hillary had a 98% chance of winning. It's this kind of arrogance that led Hillary to think that she didn't need to go to Wisconsin or Florida or Pennsylvania. Let's hope that the arrogance and stupidity of the Left lead Justin and his gang of boneheads to pull the same *bleep* moves that Hillary did.

Women will line up in droves to vote for Trudeau .......again. Scheer's views on abortion and women in the workforce are absolutely neanderthal and Canadian women will never want to go back there again. The next campaign will feature exerpts from Scheer's own ex-website against him. He'll plead that he's "moved on and put it behind him", but he'll pay big for it.

And please don't compare Canada to the US. Kelly Leitch tried to play the Trump game and look how accepting Canadians were to her act. We don't take kindly to that aggressive style. We're Canadians and we're polite.

Surprise Forum Poll: Conservatives would beat Liberals

By Yanky Pollak - September 24, 2017

End to Sunny Ways?

If a federal election was held today, the Conservatives would be narrowly voted in over the Liberals.

So says a new Forum Research poll, which found of 1,350 decided and leaning voters, 39% would support the Tories and 35% would back the Liberals.

The same poll found the NDP got 15% of the vote, while the Bloc Quebecois and the Green Party got a mere 5% and 4%, respectively.

Seat Projection

The poll found if an election were held today, the Conservatives would get a 169 seat minority government, while the Liberals would win 130 seats. The NDP, BQ, and Green Party would get 26, 12 and one respectively.

Good find, GoneFishing. When I googled latest poll results for JT's "popularity" last night there appeared to be two conducted in September on forum.com, taken in the Toronto area, with a very small sampling if 1,000 or so.

The results could NOT be considered news to cause rejoicing in that stronghold of Liberals for JT, but rather a softening, molding, rotting support base sending mycelium in all directions AWAY from said fatuous leader.

In any case, the samples were small so cannot help but wonder if OP was spinning hopeful webs on pie slices in the sky ?

Don't eat that pie Elmer ! it'll only give you digestive troubles and keep you up all night. [icon_lol2.gif]
