The Rex Murphy article is a howler... I should be happy I wasn't drinking milk when I read it.

Thanks Merry
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

Trudeau’s problem is that he always agrees with the last good intention he encountered. He seems to have picked up his political philosophy from Saturday morning cartoons: by your powers combined, I am Captain Snowflake. There is no spine of policy, no political compass, no vision beyond the next group hug or national apology. The centre ground needs a champion and instead it got an inspirational quote calendar with abs. Trudeau’s not a Grit, he’s pure mush.

Of course, CBC would put a positive 'spin' on the whole sordid affair. I threw up in my mouth a bit while reading this.

You have to wonder if he's already having his lederhosen sewn for a trip to visit Merkel during Octoberfest.

A man convicted of attempted murder who was invited to a dinner reception with Justin Trudeau in India says he has a friendly relationship with the prime minister, and stayed away to save him from further embarrassment.

But the Prime Minister's Office says there is no merit to the assertions by Jaspal Atwal, who was convicted of attempted murder in the 1980s, especially the claim that he and Trudeau were friends.

Of course the PMO says that. What else are they gonna say. How 'bout they explain the older pics of Trudeau and that scumbag? Looks like they're friends to me but it comes as no surprise when we look at some of the other 'world travelers' (the guy who was kidnapped in Afghanistan with his wife for example) that the (not necessarily) Right Honourable Prime Minister associates with. Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Yes, I just read that same article. This is turning out to be a gigantic 'he said; he said' scandal, isn't it? As much as we may have no use for this terrorist, it's pretty hard to swallow Justin's story after all the evidence to the contrary.

Let's face it, when your entire political career is based solely on taking selfies with anyone and everyone and being Gerald "Nazi" Butts' mouthpiece, you end up associating yourself with some pretty scummy people.

Thanks for that link Norma, I laughed so hard I nearly wet my pants.

This is my favourite part
Imagine the reaction of the media if President Trump donned lederhosen and tried to do a German folk dance during a trip to meet with Germany's Angela Merkel. Or imagine if India's president, Ram Nath Kovind, arrived for a state visit to Canada dressed as a red-jacketed Canadian Mountie or as a plaid-shirted lumberjack carrying an axe.

The equivalent of the above is pretty much what Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau attempted during his recent trip to India,

I've still got an image in my head of Trump in lederhosen doing a German folk dance . LOL

Trudeau's strange garb on the India trip has made him the laughing stock of the world
Justin Trudeau has been ridiculed on social media by Indians for his 'tacky' and over the top outfit choices while on his first visit to their nation as Prime Minister.

While many praised his clothing during the first two days of his trip, patience was wearing thin by the time he attended a Bollywood gala on Tuesday night, before the tide turned against him on Wednesday.

Ministers, authors, journalists and ordinary Indians lined up to mock him on Wednesday, saying his wardrobe was 'fake and annoying'.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... tfits.html

Combined with consorting with a terrorist who once tried to murder an Indian Government Minister, I'd say this recent India jaunt was a total disaster. I wonder how much we paid for him to go over there and embarrass our country like that?
