Here is something quite fascinating. In Canada there are now 338 ridings. When we break each riding down by religion, there are 11 ridings where more than 50% of the population has no religious affiliation. All 11 of those ridings are in BC, representing more than 1 in 4 BC ridings. Castnet leftists try to make claims that there is strong correlation between religion and politics by implying it's the religious nut jobs keeping the Conservative ridings in power.

There may be some correlation (bearing in mind that correlation does not imply causation), but it isn't very strong. Not only that, but the Conservatives are the party of choice in 4 of the 11 "non-religious" ridings. The Northern BC riding sitting at #10 on the list is one of the most conservative ridings in the country as well as one of the youngest and least religious.
