only a left-wing bozo who understands nothing about how economics works would call it a bail-out, or at least, the limited knowledge they possess about how economies function, as seen through the diseased leftist prism, would lead a radical lefty to think that way. Then of course, you have the scum at the CCPA, leading these horses to the stench water, and spinning the actual facts in a way to prop up this lie. Look, the government could have done nothing back in 2008 and we'd still be in the crap today. All they did, was pledge some dough, that wasn't even used, to restore confidence in a market teetering on the brink. When push comes to shove, even an NDP government would have done it, as it was the right thing to do, and even the NDP aren't that stupid as to just sit there with their thumbs up their arses when the world is crumbling, though with Mulcair, the sky seems to be the limit in terms of stupidity. Our government served us perfectly in a time of crisis, and now we as Canadians are reaping the benefits, with a strong economy and one of the best banking systems in the world. It is disgusting that any other version of actual events is being spun by low-lifes to try and achieve political gain.
The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living are now outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

How can you tell when a radical lefty is telling the truth? This event has never been recorded in modern history, on film or otherwise.

Some people wouldn't know the truth if it cut you them up and mailed them out.

Impossible when ideologically blinded by extreme right-wing fanaticism and delusions of “I can never be wrong so why even consider it”. Of course, why even bother challenging ourselves ? Radical righties always tell the truth so we can just complacently formulate our opinions from their rhetoric.

I will agree you've backed me up a few times S.L. though you really should stop with the lectures, or at least extend them to some other posters on here from the other side who seem to think it was Harper in 2001 who sent the troops to Afghanistan. Maybe you can provide some of the people here with some history lessons as well as morality lessons.

Na, I concede to your better knowledge of history. While I`m not completely uninformed, you seem quite well-versed and studied in that subject. Your propensity to simply dismiss sources you`re not comfortable with, however, doesn`t suit someone I`ve always understood to be university educated (although that`s never a guarantee). Nothing to do with morals.
p.s. as far as accusations of lectures go, we really shouldn`t be throwing rocks in glass houses

sigh - your sense of unearned entitlement and condescension really does no no bounds does it (and save me from the usual SL comeback where you just turn the comment around on the original poster - its so old and unoriginal). At any rate, if you want to sit there and say that the CCPA is well-researched etc. and judge others who think otherwise feel free, but you really are just deluding yourself, just as a poster who says that in 2001 Steven Harper was our Prime Minister and sent Canadian troops to Afghanistan is delusional too. That's why your constant lecturing really means nothing to me, given it is clear that you really are someone whose opinion I am tending to value less and less these days. So stop wasting everyone's time with your nonsensical lecturing - it serves no purpose, and as the other poster said, no one is listening.

All right S.L. - I will concede this much - if I am ever in Terrace, you're the first dude I am calling to go golfing and quaff beers with, and I promise I'll even let you lecture me - even if it is just about my atrocious golf swing and putting. Deal? :)
