Harper VS the Queen?
The queen is celebrating her 60th year of reign today in a far far away kingdom.
They said on tv she's like 86 y/o and still working fulltime. Do you think Stephen Harper is asking us, canadians, to retire at age 67 instead of 65 to follow her path?
Don't you think these political mens should not be allowed to retire before their pope?
Like if working 5-10 years in the govt would give you a lifetime overwell paid pension. Oh.. It already does sorry. :dyinglaughing:
Whatcha think?

And for your entertainement, here you can see pictures of her umbrellas matching her dresses: (bottom of page)

Re: Harper VS the Queen?
Your TV got it wrong. Our Queen turned 86 years old on April 21st this year and is still capable of putting in a full day's work (and does).
I don't quite know what the Pope has to do with it, but what I think is that most Quebeccers are far too concerned about their own politics to worry much about the rest of the country and its views. Unless the money constantly flowing to them from the pockets of the rest of Canada to support their excessive social supports were to be cut off that is. But Harper seems to be doing a pretty good job of keeping that cash flow going, so I wouldn't be too quick to look a gift horse in the mouth.

It's even worse. But thanks, I did the correction.

I still don't understand what the point is you are trying to make.
