Dog dies in car

The owners should be forced to wear a fur coat and be locked in a car in 30 plus degree heat for a couple hours.
I wouldn't have waited for authorities to arrive, I would have gotten the dog out myself and waited for the 2 idiots to return.
I have done it before and I'm sure I will have to do it again.

DON'T LEAVE YOUR PET IN YOUR CAR IN THE HEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"I will NEVER understand WHAT kindof human being can just bring there dog along for a car ride in the sweltering heat and decide to just leave them in the car and shut the doors and barely open the windows and just walk away from the car like they're doing nothing wrong....***WHO*** IN THERE RIGHT MIND CAN DO THIS????...I see it now and then and I have broken a window in the past to rescue a dog out of the car....I would risk going to jail or having a record to do so....It is a 'live' 'breathing' animal that does anything to please it's owner only to be left in a hotbox car and slowly die....it can't say please don't leave me in here or scream for help....It's LOCKED IN BY YOU! These people make me sick to my stomach and I will Never understand this in my lifetime....TO ANYONE OUT THERE THAT HAS A DOG ....THINK ABOUT IT!!!! leave your dog at home in the heat they're better off at home!!!!
WAKE UP CANADA!!! You wouldn't leave you child in the hot sweltering car....(mind you some idiots have) so why in the world would you leave your pet....?
~LEAVE YOUR DOG AT HOME~.......***PLEASE****

I would implore anyone who comes across this situation to call 911 and then break the window and wait for the police to arrive. Waiting can not only be fatal for the animal but the suffering it will experience is unimaginable.

I'd bust out the window in a NY minute.

I second this.

Unfortunately some pet owners are very foolish on decided not to leave fido at home on a hot day. Other choices dealing with heat is having their dog run with them on hot pavement.
Next time I see this I will tempted to stop & remove the foot ware of the runner & see how they like it.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to under estimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Been there, done that.

Security has been called on the carpet for not breaking the window. Sounds like management will be changing the rule shortly.

course.. I'm cranky of late, I might bust out a window thinking a dog could be inside.
Really, how stupid are people? I say we remove all warning labels and tags ( don't use hair dryer in tub) and let it get sorted out. I can imagine the stooge deaths.. the famous "Hey watch this" or " I dare you" I am culling the herd. I should get a tiara :D
