Westjet Starts Trans Atlantic Flights
Just announced today, Westjet will be starting service from St.John's, Nfld to Dublin, Ireland with daily flights starting this coming June ...

... the flight originates in Toronto and has several connection options including Kelowna.
It'll be interesting to see how this seasonal service works out for them, possibly acquirring 787s in the next few years once they get a foothold in the Canada/Europe market.

No wonder they haven't had any cheap flights over the past year.

Re: Westjet Starts Trans Atlantic Flights
Direct flights from Toronto to Dublin have just been announced, also starting on June 15th.
EDIT: Sorry, the source in my email made a boo boo ... there is no extra flight from YYZ to DUB as my original email stated, just the continuation of the same flight which starts in Toronto to Dublin via St. John's.
