I'm not worried what I say, if they see it now or they see it later, I said it. If you don't know maybe that would hurt you, I don't know. You should know though, so you don't get hurt, so you know what side to be on when it happens.

Step one: Don't be a criminal d-bag

The sad truth of the matter is, if a civilian makes a false allegation against a Police Officer there is no real recourse when proven to be false.
Yes, you can take the accuser to civil court, however the remedy is a apology for making the false allegation. There is no punitive damages for causing unnecessary stress etc. That is the best you get!
Very sad, I think there should be something placed in the Canadian Law.

As long as it works both ways I am in agreement.. police should be held accountable for false charges,, lying on the stand etc.
