A petition demanding a " Healthy Health Minister " is circulating widely on the web. Citizens ask Gaétan Barrette take charge and begin fitness classes.

Since Monday , many rumors that the former president of the Federation of Medical Specialists of Quebec would be the next Minister of Health .

A citizen of Quebec did not wait for his official appointment , which occurred yesterday to launch a petition demanding that Mr. Barrette take his health in good hands.

"We saw it coming from afar, but surely many of you have responded as after the announcement this morning : Gaétan Barrette appointed Minister of Health. Unfortunately, the image it projects is far from representing its mandate health. Our cobbler seems to need a new pair of shoes, " reads the text of the petition launched by Pierre- Etienne Vachon , an entrepreneur in the region of Quebec.

Over 7000 signatures

This morning , the author of the petition had collected more than 7,500 signatures and several comments.

" I also have some extra pounds . If he does, I do too, I promise! " In particular wrote a signatory.

The text states that the petition is requesting Gaétan Barrette he " leads by example and become (sic) an inspiration changing a sedentary lifestyle to a club permanent form. We see a huge opportunity for Mr. Barrette to regain its credibility with the public. "

Reminds me of all the overweight health workers. You would think they would be a bit more diligent about their own weight.
I shake my head when I go for an appointment with a certain specialst nurse and she tells me to watch what I am eating. (which I all ready do) and she has gained many pounds since our last meeting.
My Wife asked me if I knew what her favorite flower was?

Kind of hard to take some of these "professionals" seriously, when they spend the lion's share of their time acting hard done by, yet last election when there was this poster of NDP Candidates, the two most notable things that stood out to me were, first they were all public servant union employees, and second, except for one of them, they were all charter members of the 300 club, and I ain't talking bowling.

Did you ever stop and think that specialist nurse might have health problems herself? Thyroid problems can cause weight gain without overeating. Maybe think of that next time you are quick to judge others.

Lol, French magazine "Le Figaro" was duped by a satiric Quebec News website.

The very serious French magazine published that Gaétan Barrette would lose 100kg, since it was one if electoral promise.

Of course, that "news" had only been published on the "Journal de Mourrial" website, a parody of the real "Journal de Montréal".

A reminder to always check your sources before believing everything you read!!

Does the Minister of Agriculture need to look like a horse?

While that is always a possibility I know it's not in this case and in several others who I know personally.
