Not that it's much better but she didn't lure her sister so Paul could torture and kill her, she did it so he could rape her. I think it is fair to say that the death was not part of the plan. Now before anyone jumps all over me for saying this, I'm by no means excusing what she did, it was truly beyond evil no matter how you look at it.

You can thank our wonderful legal system for that, she only took advantage of what was afforded to her. Would Bernardo have been convicted without her testimony? Before you answer that, keep in mind that we now have the benefit of hindsight. She cut a deal, served her time and is now free.
