So it looks like this whole thing was taken out of context, as the grievance leave is for a village elder whom to them is essentially family. Makes sense. But then again, even if it were about "imaginary friends" well don't Christians all take a few days off every year to mourn the death of an imaginary person?

Religious beliefs of all kinds, particularly Christian, area under attack. People are ridiculed for their belief in some fictitious deity and we hear demands to remove references to God in many areas of daily life. Yet when we question aboriginal spirituality, which is as real to its followers, and no more or no less fictitious as Jesus, Yahweh, Mohammed or Allah, we are racist?
35mm photography is a job, medium format is a skill, large format is a way of life.
