I will NEVER be a vegetarian, but is this where all the maniacs work to take the edge off?

I've been following that. It is terrible. They should identify everyone involved and give them huge fines, maybe even a bit of jail time. I know pigs can be awful stubborn as we used to keep between 50 and 75 on the farm at home, but we never had to treat them like that.
Consider how hard it is to change yourself and you'll understand what little chance you have of changing others.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything that comes their way.

Just because they are "only" animals and destined for slaughter, does not mean they should be mistreated or abused beforehand. It's already fairly inhumane, the way we treat "food" before the processing... but there's a pretty obvious line.

I'd never be a vegetarian either... but I still don't like to see animals treated this way
