Cirque du soleil sold to Americans and Chinese
Say goodbye to another successful Canadian company.
Cirque du Soleil was sold to a Texas company yesterday. Former owner and founder Guy Laliberte wanted $2,000,000,000 for it.

Inevitable...was actually surprized it stayed in Canadian hands for as long as it did. Most Americans have no idea that Cirque came from Canada or was founded here. LOL...our dearest brothers to the south often think everything is home grown on US ground and derived from US born talent.

Most certainly not!!! We can only hope the quality of the incredible shows keep up to the standards they have developed over the years. Have seen many shows in numerous venues and all of them were spectacular!

New owner would be foolish not to.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.
