Boat Stopped at Sylvan Lake

Just can not imagine this boater had no idea his boat was contaminated with mussels. Hope this story spreads, we all need to be aware if you boat.

Should loose his boat, forever. A good stiff fine would also be in order.

That was a file photo of a boat - not necessarily the one in question.
Truths can be backed up by facts - do you have any?

Enroute from Kelowna to Edmonton last Saturday I seen a "mandatory" boat inspection station just outside Cochrane on highway 1. I have never seen this before but glad they are looking for this.

I like the idea of "Mandatory" stops. However, if you just drove past who will stop you. Not suggesting I would do this, but you know how people are! It is sad that they need to go to these extremes.
