Re: Minimum Wage Increase
I think I'm grateful that I don't have to figure out how to live on minimum wage.

I posted the wrong article. It was supposed to be about raising it to $15 per hour.

Doubtful it would actual happen.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

^^^^ I agree. I can't see how that would work. I think it would cause nothing but problems.

Prices would go up to cover increase (especially groceries), so end result pretty well right back were those making minimum wage is now.

Eventually it will happen. But the question is will it help anybody.
Increasing min. wage never really helps anybody, ever. Especially the way they're done.
Sarcasm is like a good game of chess. Most people don't know how to play chess.

Re: Minimum Wage Increase
Yet massive inflation still occurs even when minimum wage is static for years on end.
Wasn't it $8 in BC for like a decade? Yet the price of pretty much everything increased substantially.
