For those who want Canada to be governed by looks rather than intelligence and substance, might I suggest posting a picture on the wall and using imagination to fill in the gaps ??

Canada was governed by "looks" for nearly a decade when Steve was PM. He was really good at it. At first he made it "look" like he was doing great things for Canada, when in reality he was giving big tax cuts to the rich and the banks, and even subsidies to the big oil corporations. Eventually, Canadians woke up and realized that it only "looked" like Steve was working for middle class Canadians, when in fact he was working for somebody else.

You guys do realize that its not like Trudeau is going around and making media and people focus on his looks right?
Unfortunately, we live in a world where looks matter. Take a look at the hassle Hillary Clinton deals with, Sarah Palin, Michelle Obama, and Trumps hair. As much as it sucks the media is focusing on Trudeau's appearance so much, it is kind of nice to see the world actually caring about Canadian politics again.
Taking pictures with supporters, and appearing in Vogue (whom I am sure sought him out) can all be seen as advocating for his beliefs and values. He is a people person who enjoys interacting with the public, instead of being some grumpy old white guy sitting behind a desk all day. His ability to make decisions has nothing to do whether he takes a picture or not. Because guess what, you can do both.

What's with all these pictures of narcissistic selfie obsessed PM's on our money? Laurier should have done his job instead of letting people photograph him. But then again, just look at this sexy man
"Dishwashers, the dishwasher, right? You press it. Remember the dishwasher, you press it, there'd be like an explosion. Five minutes later you open it up the steam pours out, the dishes -- now you press it 12 times, women tell me again." - Trump

Harper's minions just continue to whine because their idol looks like a weasel (and what a coincidence that turned out to be).

Trudeau Vogue Photoshoot Costs Canadian Tax Payers
December 24, 2015
Dec 25, 2015 - Most Canadians are now aware of the infamous photoshoot with our new Prime Minister and his wife for Vogue mazazine. The shots, that are shown above, show a very different side of conventional politics. Much like when his father, Pierre Elliott Trudeau, became the Canadian Prime Minister of Canada, it was dubbed "Trudeau-Mania", the same is occurring with his son Justin. The Prime Minister cannot go anywhere without a phone in his face asking for a "selfie". The Canadian Prime Minister is ranked among top Canadian Celebrities.
In the most recent events, the couple was featured in Vogue Magazine in a full spread, taking up several pages of the magazines inner pages. The pages typically run for thousands of dollars for advertisers to occupy. The story, as spun by the Liberal governement, is that Vogue reached out to the Prime Minister's office for the spread, however our sources confirm that the PM reached out to the magazine giant to appear more relatable to American and Canadian citizens.
Inside Parliament reached out to Vogue Magazine's marketing department and inquired about pricing for the spread that the Liberal leader and his wife had. We spoke with Marketing director Pamela Hall. "A four page spread in our magazine, depending on the issue, ranges anywhere from $7,500 to $25,000". Hall would not provide comments on what the Trudeau's paid for their spread, however, she did confirm that payment did come an official Parliament of Canada account and not a personal account of Sophie or Justin. This adds to the recent scandals the Liberal party has endured over the last month. Trudeau has already been under scrutiny for using official government funds to pay for Nannies, who have since, received a raise. No word on whether or not Trudeau will respond to these allegations

Really?
But it's 'news'! It's on the internet and all!
Purely satire?

Yah, criticizing people's stupidity who think Trudeau actually used tax payers dollars to pay for a Vogue ad.
