Damn I wish Harper was still Prime Minister. May not have been perfect but he had the working mans best interest at the forefront.

I think these lawsuits should proceed if even one of these morons could coherently explain

a) what the hell they were even protesting and
b) what standing around yelling in a Toronto street was going to accomplish

But you know the Liberals will encourage this legal stupidity and even write a big cheque from the taxpayer trough if it makes any prior governments look bad. Hoo-rah.

A) The protests were about the very thing that you so adamantly complain about everywhere else: Wasteful misuse of government funds. The only difference is the G20 expenses were magnitudes larger than some of the things you have voiced your opinion so strongly over.

B) what protests are for, raising awareness and sending a message.

And protests are not solely liberal actions. The Tea party in the US staged multiple protests. Pre-lifers outside the hospitals are protesting.

C) this isn't about what makes other governments bad, it's about what makes Canada bad. Thousands of aboriginals murdered without fair investigations. Yeah, doesn't matter who the government was, that shouldn't be something happening in Canada. Blatant disregard of the Bill of Rights. Canadians detained without cause? Are we Canada or are we Russia?
