GB- you just don't like facts do you? I gave you the link. Those are facts. 243,971 when Martin left, and in 5 years Harper and crew grew the bureaucracy to 282,980 (plus "spooks" etc.). 282,980/243,971 = 1.15989, so in excess of a 15% growth in the bureaucracy.

That was Harper fibbing about "''small government", the only "small" thing about the Harper government was small mindedness.
