Post by maryjane48 »

Charges of poaching laid in Alberta grizzly bear death
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/ ... -1.3651910

these fools should be fined into the poor house and maybe year in jail . 2 of these idiots were from ft mac . so instead of helping rebuild they go out and kill a protected animal . *removed*

I read the article and it quotes that only one of them was from Fort McMurray.
Two men from Edson and Fort McMurray have been charged

A charge of unlawful possession of wildlife can result in up to $50,000 in fines and/or one year in jail.

ZERO reason not to give them maximum penalty.
They are Canadian, or at least living/working in Canada, so they know our rules and regulations regarding psycho hunting/trophy hunting.
Either give the max, or export them. Both if applicable.

What a waste of meat. Who ever heard of poaching a bear? Geesh.

Please don't insult neanderthals like that.

I agree, throw the book at them for poaching. But as usual MJ your point is way out in left field, for one Edson and Fort Mac are no where close, and how the hell were people supposed to be helping rebuild Fort Mac at the end of May when this happened.

if you have no idea where ft. mac . is relative to edson, get a map or shut your computer down. it is a shame that you have no idea where towns are.

Some folks have a difficult time viewing that part of the country whether on a map or google earth.
It's that festering infected starhole we call Fort Mack because we can't figure out that it's spelled with no "a" in Mc.
I know that every time I see it from a map of aerial view I get a knot, and have to squat.
Gross, eh?
Not me. Fort Mc.!

It really doesn't matter to the story where either of the places are on a map. With no physical connection to the area, who really cares?
It's about the TruckTards that poached the bear.
The story is about sharing our disgust and outrage. Can we not speak more to that offense than someone's interpretation of a map?

Was it a male or female bear?
