Not the first public official to make an appearance in a comic book. My understanding that this only appears in the variant cover art. The art is really good though. I'm impressed.

The characters behind him are from Alpha Flight (well except for ironman). The others are Aurora, Sasquatch and Puck.


Amusingly Pierre Trudeau featured in an old X-Men comic where he was trying to get Wolverine brought back to Canada.
