"A Niagara, Ont.-region woman is facing 36 charges stemming from allegations that she sexually assaulted both of her children with a weapon, made them available to be sexually abused by others and was involved in the production of child pornography.

One of the children allegedly abused was only four years old, police say.

Niagara police announced the charges Wednesday as part of Project Iceberg, a wider child abuse/internet child exploitation investigation that rescued six children from sexual abuse.

Niagara police also charged five men in connection with the investigation."...

something lopsided about a society that sceens prospective adoptive or foster parents and even foiks wanting to adopt a pet from an SPCA are screened but anyone who can biologically do it can have their own children to abuse.

An how often do such people have children taken away and just go ahead and have more or are released from incarceration and start the vicious and disappear under the radar to start over again with more children. There is a case for sterilization of some people as extreme and politically incorrect as it may sound.

What a sad life those kids have lived, and to think that the one person in this life that should have loved and protected them no matter what and should have given her own life in protecting them put them in harms way and abused them in such a sick ,twisted, deplorable way.
May karma bite her in the *bleep* while she's accidentally thrown into a men's prison with all the violent rapists as cell mates.

just another reason why we should reinstate the death penalty in Canada, no one deserves a second chance for doing something this sick to little kids, they will do little time and will be out to reoffened before we know it
