Liberals have become an NDP hybrid not leaving much for NDP to distinguish themselves as an alternative party.

That and the individual that tried to be a voice of potential reason for the NDP was faced with back stabbing and infighting and potential coups in the middle of an election. The NDP has been sent back to oblivion where it should stay.
The Cons have been sent to the penalty box much like the Liberals were, now it depends on their action as to where they end up in the next election, however the NDP aren't likely to make a big comeback in my opinion.
