When in doubt boxer or lab are the go to breeds when not wanting to be honest.
An autopsy report conducted by the veterinary faculty of the Université de Montréal concluded that the dog that killed Christiane Vadnais was a male pit bull that weighed 73 pounds and was wearing a studded collar, a muzzle around its neck and a harness around its chest at the time of the attack.

Man has consciously or unconsciously interfered with the proliferation of many animal species for better or for worse. The world will not be worse off with a few less pitbulls in it. Better them than the innocent victims they have attacked, seriously maimed or killed. Let's worry more about the human victims. There are hundreds of less risky dog species to choose from that wanting a dog can choose from.
